Harmony Mortgage Group & COVID19, getting financial help where you need it!๐Ÿ’ž

We were ready to board our flight to Pheonix for our spring break trip with the family that had been planned for 6 months.  Kids were super excited despite the fact the NBA game we had 3rd-row tickets to was canceled.  They were going to see their cousins traveling from the other side of Canada and were sure to have a great time.

**insert news of travel warning against traveling outside Canada....**

Final call for our flight and we made the tough and responsible decision to stay; taking our bags off the airplane and heading back through USA security.  Disappointing times for many travelers! We were not alone, we were told of families that had to tell their kids Disneyland was closed among many of the stories from other travelers who also made the tough decision at the Airport to not leave Canada.  We traded 25-30 degrees by a pool with 14 of our most favorite people for Self-isolation and snow in April....  (yes actually snow...)

The last couple of weeks we have learned to meet our friends and family on video chat, work from home, work out at home, we figured out Zoom meetings, to keep 2 meters from people at the grocery store, to home school our kids (best we can), to cook at home, bake at home...... be at home.....!!

We know this is far from over and when this is over we will have learned a lot!  Businesses will change, people will change, our world will change.

We are in unprecedented times, a pandemic has reached our country and we are grateful for the Canadian Government who is reaching out a helping hand.  While we do not know how long this will last, nor the full impact on our economy we are in this together.
Here are some resources from our Canadian Government.  If you need additional help or don't know how this will affect your mortgage, we are here for you!  please reach out... Harmony Mortgage Group is here for you!๐Ÿ’ž

National COVID-19 Volunteer Recruitment Campaign - We need you!
The Government of Canada is working with provincial and territorial governments to respond to COVID-19. We are seeking volunteers to help in the following areas:

1. Case tracking and contact tracing;
2. Health system surge capacity;
3. Case data collection and reporting.

We are building an inventory of volunteers from which provincial and territorial governments can draw upon as needed. We welcome ALL volunteers as we are looking for a wide variety of experiences and expertise. Please note that we have included a list of Yes/No questions that you will be asked to answer to so we can better match the volunteer work to be assigned.

We thank you in advance for helping protect the health of Canadians.

NOTE: Some jurisdictions have already asked for applications to cover surge capacity. If you have already applied directly to a call-out from your province, please do not apply to this national process. This will help to cut down on processing applications more than once.
Positions to be filled: Number to be determined

-We want to make sure you know we are here to support our past and future clients in whatever capacity we can during this time.  Thank you to our Front line workers for all you are doing to get us through this!
